For this recipe the following elaborations are needed:

SETTING-UP

  • Prepare a dutch dough and use it to cover the bottom of a round pie mold.
  • Peel, core and cut the reineta apples into four parts.
  • Cut them into thin slices and add lemon juice to avoid them turning brown.
  • Place the apples into the pie dish alternating them with layers of sprinkled brown sugar and small cubes of butter.
  • Fill in ¾ parts of the mold.
  • Bake at 200ºC for around 20 minutes.
  • Once cooked add to the pie a thick layer of almond crumble.
  • Let chill before eating.
