Pistachios
It is the seed of a small tree from the Pistacia Genus, originally from the mountainous regions of Greece, Syria, Turkey, Kirgizstan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Pakistan and western Afganistan.
Their colour is pale green under a reddish coat and are inside an easy to break shell covered by a brownish pulp. As pistachios are a nut, they are highly energetic and nutritious.
