Elaboration
  • Peel and core the pineapple. Cut in into 4 pieces and place them on a baking tray.
  • Put the water, brown sugar, the remaining pineapple and the spices (crushed with a mortar) in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
  • Pour the syrup over the pieces of pineapple and place some knobs of butter on top.
  • Bake at 200 ºC and every 10 minutes pour the syrup over the pineapple and the cooking juices.
  • Let the pineapple to rest in the fridge.
