Romanesco (Brassica oleracea), from the Brassicaceae family is a hybrid between broccoli and cauliflower. Like all species in this family, it is rich in vitamin C, soluble fiber and carotenoids. It is usually eaten boiled or steamed although it can also be eaten raw.
