Riojan Alegrías (red chilli peppers)
The Riojan alegrías is a chilli variety original from the autonomous region of La Rioja.
They are super spicy, red colour and its shape is similar to the piquillo pepper but smaller. They can be roasted, and stripped with olive oil and a pinch of salt to garnish omelettes, sandwiches or other dishes.
