Fresh cranberries, tray

Seasonal period: June, July, August, September

The popular wild blackberry, the zarzamora, is also called the black raspberry.

It is a fruit that grows in bushes from the Rosaceae family, which includes more than 2.000 species of herbaceous plants, bushes and trees distributed within the temperate regions of the planet. The main European fruits, roses included, belong to this family. They are also included in the Rubus genus, which should not be mistaken for the fruits in the Morus genus, such as Morus nigra and Morus Alba L, which grow on trees and not on bushes.
