Figs
Seasonal period:
July, August, September
Figs are the infrutescences of the fig tree, a tree that belongs to the Moraceae family. This family has more than 1,500 species of trees and bushes that produce latex. Fig trees give two different kinds of fig in one year, the first one being bigger but less tasty (known as breva in Spanish) and the second one being smaller but tastier (higo in Spanish).
