Common name: yellow foot, winter mushroom or Funnel Chanterelle.
A cap 2 to 5 cm wide. The cap is convex and sometimes hollow down the middle. Greyish brown or yellowish brown cuticle. Decurrent flaps, separated and intertwined, lighter coloured than its cap. Hollow compressed yellowish brown stipe. Sweet taste and weak smell. Mycorrhizal from mountainous regions, it thrives under conifers and broad-leaved trees.
