Paella pan

It is a metallic container with two handles, usually made of polished steel, although there are some made from stainless steel and other materials.

It must have a minimum diameter of around 20 cm and it is not too deep, with borders ranging from 5 to 15 cm depending on the diameter. The maximum diameter can be anything as long as the proportions are kept.

To make giant paellas with thousands of portions, containers with several metres of diameter are used. The maximum diameter found in the market is around 120 cm.
